The project brings mandala-inspired artistry to life through an exhibition-style artefact and an advertising poster, celebrating Nepal’s resilience after the 2015 earthquake and welcoming people to experience it as a safe tourist destination.
Rooted in a sacred Nepali tradition practiced for over eight thousand years, the mandala artefact becomes a hopeful invitation - honoring the places and spirit that endured. Infused with Nepali culture, it features a serene Buddha surrounded by bodhi trees, framed by the four highest mountains and UNESCO heritage sites, with symbols of beloved adventures like rafting and mountain climbing. Each element carries deep meaning and a strong sense of belonging, reflecting Nepal’s culture and history.
Made through sketching, digitizing, laser cutting, hand-assembling, and photographing, the finished work is vibrant, exhibition-ready, and designed to leave a lasting message of Nepal’s beauty, strength, and enduring welcome.
