Visit Nepal

The project centers on creating an advertising poster from an artefact inspired by mandala painting, a sacred art form practiced in Nepal for over eight thousand years. The objective is to promote Nepal as a safe tourist destination following the 2015 earthquake. This artefact incorporates elements of Nepali culture, showcasing landmarks and natural beauty, including the four highest mountains, UNESCO heritage sites, and a central Buddha surrounded by bodhi trees. It also highlights popular activities like rafting and mountain climbing, infused with rich Buddhist symbols that reflect Nepal's cultural heritage.

The process involves sketching, digitizing, laser cutting, and hand-assembling each piece, followed by photographing the finished artefact to create the poster. Designed for exhibition display, the artefact serves as a vibrant representation of Nepal’s resilience and allure.
