Beauty of Chinese Culture

The MOTIFX project for the Hong Kong Design Institute reimagines the rich heritage of Chinese pattern motifs through a responsive digital platform that blends traditional artistry with contemporary design. By adopting a "mystical garden" UI/UX aesthetic, the project invites a new generation of designers to reinterpret timeless cultural elements for modern applications, such as home décor and daily items. This vision was realized through a structured process of fundamental research, conceptual sketching, and responsive wireframing, resulting in a highly interactive experience. The final design serves as both a functional tool and a visual narrative, effectively connecting users to the cultural beauty of Chinese motifs while ensuring a seamless, engaging journey across all digital devices.
